Dr. Álvaro Salas-Castro is the Founder of Demo Lab Foundation and has a deep background in fostering civic innovation through initiatives such as the BLISS Summit, Freedom Academy, and Freedom Accelerator, connecting activists, philanthropists, and entrepreneurs devoted to liberty and human dignity.

He is now President and CEO of The Reynolds Foundation, where he leads global initiatives advancing individual freedom, civic leadership, and responsible investment. A respected voice in the international freedom movement, he works with leaders and institutions across sectors to strengthen open societies.

He also serves on the Global Advisory Board of the Wilson Center and as a Board Member of the World Liberty Congress, and has served as Board Director in several regional investment funds bridging enterprise, governance, and strategy.

Dr. Salas-Castro is a Visiting Professor at Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and Faculty Member at INCAE Business School, where his work links strategic leadership, philanthropic family offices, and governance to the enduring pursuit of freedom and human flourishing.
